Teams Module
Moving players to teams and submit ready to propose grades
The Teams module allows you to build your teams ahead of putting them in Match Day and includes the following features:
- Allows for the filtering of Assigned/Unassigned players
- Additional filtering for registration age groups, divisions and role types
- Ability to multi select players and drag and drop in bulk
- Ability to see and assign all roles eg player, coach, manager and team official and more.
The Process
Clubs opened registration to a competition and then share the registration link with players. As players register they will appear in the Teams module directly into the division they select throughout their registration. The Club creates teams, drags players into teams and submits these teams for grading. This pushes these teams through to the Competition Organiser for final grading and fixturing.
Actions to be aware in the teams module -
- Conveniently multi select players for one team and drag them to the relevant team in one move.
- Note as players are added to teams, the number in the Teams column 'P' will show the number of players. Click on the number of players to unassign from a team.
- Coaches 'C', Managers 'M' and Team Officials 'O' that register via your form will also appear on this page and can be allocated to Teams in the same way.
- +Create Participant allows you to add a Coach, Manager or Team Official.
- Easily find a player using the Search Field.
- If a player registers to the incorrect division you can move them by click the player checkbox Action select Change Division. For full process, click here.
- Click the Team name to view full details of the team, add a team logo to appear on the Draws/Ladders and more.
- Click the icon in the menu line alongside Role, Reg Grp, Division to filter.
Replicate a player to multiple teams by simply dragging the player into the additional team. Follow the process here.
Submit for Grading
Select the checkbox alongside the Team name to Submit for Grading. This can be done at anytime, you do not have to wait for all players to be registered.
Once teams have been submitted for Grading you will automatically progress to Fixtures > Participating-In Competitions > Team Grading where you propose grades for your teams. The Competition Organiser will finalise grades, once final grades have been assigned you will not be able to change or delete your team. If you need to update the team name please contact the Competition Organiser.
Use the comment bubble along the Team line to send short messages to the Competition Organiser to assist with grading.
