Team Registrations (Independent EntityTeams or Direct entry)

THIS TEAM REGISTRATION PROCESS IS FOR ENTITY (INDIVIDUAL) TEAM ENTRIES DIRECT TO A COMPETITION AND NOT TEAMS AFFILIATED TO A CLUB.

If you are a member of a club, please register as an individual via the specific link provided to you by your club.

REGISTERING AN ENTITY (INDIVIDUAL) TEAM DIRECTLY TO A COMPETITION

Only one Team Representative is to register the team to avoid duplicate team entries. Click the specific registration link provided to you by the Competition Organiser. The link will take you to this page:

- If the participant has never created an account with Netball Connect, select New User – Register.

- If the participant has already downloaded the Netball Connect app and created an account, they can login using the same username (email) and password.

- If you have an account and have forgotten your password, please select Forgot/Reset Password.

Select "+New Team Registration".

1. Select the Membership Product Junior or Senior, this is for yourself as Team Contact. This fee includes Netball Victoria Membership and Team Entry for the

competition.

2. Select the Registration Division you want to register to the team to.

3. The competition fees show here, you have several options of how your team pays fees.

4. Review competition specific information.

5. Select "Sign Up to Competition" to continue.

1. Select your role. If you are playing in the team select Player. You can however select another role here and then select at step 3 that you are also registering as a player.

2. Enter your personal details as asked in the fields.

3. Select Yes or No if you are playing in the team.

4. Enter your Emergency Contact information. 

1. Enter your team name. (You can continue without adding team members by clicking next to complete team entry and your own registration (if you are a player).

2. You must first decide who will be paying the membership fees for the team and it's players. Select the "I am paying all fees for this member" checkbox only if you are paying for players’ fees (fees may include NV Membership and any other related team or club fees). If you are paying fees for the player, then select the checkbox (you can select one or none). If you are registering as a player, you will pay your own NV membership and any related Team or Club fees as Team representative.

3. To add team members, now select "+Add Team Member" and enter players names, date of birth, email, and phone number. You can also select Download Template, enter team players details into the excel spreadsheet that downloads, save the document and then select Import Team. (See sample completed team list below). Which ever option you choose, your team members are now listed.

4. Once entered, players will automatically receive an email notification to register and pay fees as /if required. Once they have completed their registration

they will appear as a paid member of the team in the team list.

5. Once you have completed this registration, as the team representative registering the team, you can always add additional players later from your User Profile > Registration Tab. Select Team Registration and "+Add Players".

The next screen is additional personal information that is required by Netball Victoria. Complete this for yourself – this is your information. Complete the fields and select "Sign Up to Competition".

The next page is the review and payment selection section and your opportunity to confirm all details are correct. Click Edit to update players. Additional players can be added later so you can still enter the team and add players later.

1. Select How Competition Fees will be paid.

• Pay Competition Fees and Deposit Fees (if applicable for all) – this means you will pay Competition Fees (weekly court fees) and Deposit Fees (team entry fee) for the team.

• Pay all Fees for Selected Team Members – you will pay for team members selected on the previous page. A reminder if you want each team member to pay for themselves, do not click the checkbox on the previous page, this will automatically send them an email inviting them to register and pay any required fees. Otherwise, you will be charged through your selected payment of choice on the next page and you may need to collect money from your team players to cover the fees. 

2. What would you like to pay for? The Competition Organiser may have all or only one of the available options on their registration form. Examples for each option below:

• Full Competition – Upfront (Pay all competition fees now)

• Full Competition – Instalment (Payments will be charged in instalments as set by comp organiser - the Netball Victoria membership will be included in the first payment at the time of registration)

Select your method and click continue to progress.

The final page is for payment. Confirm your order summary, enter payment details and click Submit. If there is no payment required, click Submit.

Your invoice will then appear on the screen. This will also be available in your Netball Connect profile. Click Your Profile (top right-hand corner of the invoice). You can also login to your profile anytime via this link https://netballconnect.worldsportaction.com/login.

If you have forgotten your password select Forgot/Reset Password.

Please Note: Players will receive an email notification to the email address you have entered asking them to complete their registration and pay fees depending upon your choices.

Login to your user profile to view your Team Registration. At this point you can add additional players to the team by clicking on the team name and then "+Add Team Members". Enter the player details. Players will then receive an email notification inviting them to register and pay. Once they have registered, they will automatically appear in the team list.
