Open Registrations - Competition Organisers

To set up Registrations for a new competition, the Competition Organiser needs to complete the following steps. 


NOTE

1. This is not at club level - find that resource HERE

2. This is a large document


1. Navigate to the Registration module

2. Select "+ New Registration"

3. Complete the following details:

- Competition Name

- Competition Logo

- Hero Logo (not compulsory)

- Description of the Competition

4. Complete the following details:

- Venue for the Competition

- Type of Competition

- Competition format

- Competition start / end dates

- Number of rounds (if enhanced robin is selected in competition format)

- Time between rounds

- Registration close date

- Non-playing dates

- Maximum number of players per team (not compulsory)

5. Select how players will appear in Match Day out of:

- Only when the Competition Organiser publishes the Players to Match Day or Publishes the Draw

- Automatically when a player is placed into a team and the team has already been published to Match Day


Select the registration invitees - those who are to be invited to register to this specific competition

2nd level affiliates – Club/School - those affiliated to your organisations 

- Any organisation - those not affiliated to your organisation can be selected to be invited. You can also invite your own association so you can create a registration form for officials, committee members or independent/entity teams. 

- Direct - where users will register directly to your organisation.


Click Next

6. Select which types of Membership the Organisation wish to make available. PLEASE NOTE: the decisions here at Association level filter through to the Affiliates and these cannot be changed later.

7. Select the applicable Membership types and click Next.

8. Add all registration groups as required, including any gender or age restrictions.

9. Choose the Competition Registration parameters and click Next:

- Single Registration Only (members can only register once to the competition)

- Multiple Registration allowed BUT different Registration Groups (members can register multiple times but can't register more than once to the same group (eg, 15/1's team)

- Multiple Registration allowed to same Registration Group (members can register multiple times to the same groups)

10. On the fees page, select the applicable box to allow for fees. Remember that this decision is binding on the Organisation's affiliates.

- All Groups means all groups are charged the same fees

- Per Group means each group can be charged a different fee


11. Select Individual User Registrations and the Individual User Seasonal Fee option 

This shows the Netball Victoria Membership amount, which is set by Netball Victoria and cannot be altered. Separate costs can be added here by the Organisation (which is not very common at Competition Organiser level but more so at Club level)


12. Select the Individual User Single Game Fee if it is to be an option - this is for a Single Game Voucher, the price of which is also set by Netball Victoria and is not changeable.


13. Click on Next

14. Select which Payment Methods to make available. NOTE: All selections here will filter down to affiliates.

15. Choose the Payment Options to offer users to pay their Registration fees with. You can choose multiple but the options selected here filter down to affiliates.

16. Select any Discounts to offer various groups, if wanted. Make sure to fill out all of the relevant details carefully. 

17. Enable Government Vouchers if wanted. NOTE: If this is not selected at the Competition Organiser level, Affiliates will not be able to select it at their level.

18. Click Publish
