Selling tickets via the Shop & Tickets module

The Shop & Tickets module enables you to sell products or tickets to events directly to your netball communities online and through the Netball Connect app. 


The Tickets section of the module is where administrators are able to create tickets for one-off events and season passes. It also encompasses ticket purchasing for the end-user, QR code redemption, ticket management, and reporting capabilities. 


Navigate to the Shop & Tickets module

To create a ticket:

> select Products & Tickets

> Tickets

> click '+Add a Ticket'

Fill out the ticket details:

Title - what the ticket will be called

Description - details of the ticket

Affiliates - choosing to apply to different affiliates will simply mean these tickets will be able to be purchased from Associations/Clubs that sit beneath your hierarchy. Direct means these tickets can only be purchased by the organisation that created the ticket, by providing the specific shop URL.

ECommerce Priority Banner - when enabled , you will have the ability to add a banner for the ticket.


Event Details - add all details for your event here



Pricing - set the price for the tickets here


Inventory - Here you will be able to keep track of inventory by setting up the amount of tickets available to be purchased.

Variants - Enabling variants allows you to create multiple varieties within the ticket. An example may be to sell Premium tickets for a higher price, and standard tickets at a lower price. You will be able to set the Quantity for each variant added. 


Make sure to scroll to the bottom and click Save once finished.



REPORTING

Navigate to:

> Orders Tab

> Order Summary

Here you will be able to see a summary on Shop Items and Tickets sold, and the total value of your orders. You can also Export a report to download the data to an excel file. as well.

Navigate to:

> Orders Tab 

> Order Status

Here you will be able to view the status of shop & ticket orders.


In this section, the administrator can also manually Redeem or Unredeem tickets that may have been accidentally redeemed. This can be done by clicking the hyperlink for Order ID.



HOW TO REDEEM TICKETS VIA THE NETBALL CONNECT APP

Once a user purchases the ticket, they will receive an email with their ticket details as well as a scannable QR Code.

These tickets can be Redeemed by Administrators that have been given ticketing access.


To Redeem a ticket:

> Open Camera App

> Scan QR Code 

> Login 

> And select Redeem.
