Get Active Kids Vouchers - Parents and Guardians

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and active recreation activities by providing financial support for the cost of membership and registration fees. Eligible children may be able to receive up to $200 each. 

Important information for participants:

A voucher can’t be cancelled once it has been issued to you. Vouchers will not be cancelled for:

  • Change of mind about your selected activity provider.
  • The wrong activity provider being selected.
  • No place for your child at the selected activity provider.
  • Wanting to change the voucher to a reimbursement.

Participants should contact the Activity Provider before applying for a voucher to confirm that there is a place for your child and the activities provided are suitable for your child.

STEP 1 - APPLY FOR A VOUCHER

To be eligible for a Get Active Kids Voucher a child must be:

• aged 0 to 18 years at the time of application.

• a resident in Victoria.

• named on a valid and issued Australian Government Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card (or the child named on their own valid Health Care Card).

• named on a valid Australian Government Medicare card.


STEP 2 – REGISTER

Your chosen club or association must be a registered activity provider. Find a list of registered activity providers here


• Nominate your chosen club or association when you apply for a voucher. Ensure you are registering to the correct organisation as the voucher cannot be cancelled or reused if you register incorrectly. 

• The voucher code must be presented to the Get Active Kids activity provider that was nominated when applying for the voucher.

• If registering online via Netball Connect, the Get Active Kids Voucher code can be added to the online registration form.

• Click + Add Government Voucher to the payment page of the online registration form. 

• If paying registration fees by cash or card directly to your club or association, present the voucher code at the point of registration. 


REMINDER - Vouchers cannot be cancelled or reused if you register to the incorrect organisation or activity provider.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Each Get Active Kids Voucher is valued up to $200.

• Registered activity providers can reduce the participant’s registration fee by up to $200.

• The Get Active Kids Voucher code must be presented at the point of registration - Vouchers cannot be cancelled or reused if you register to the incorrect organisation or activity provider.

• The Get Active Kids Voucher can only be used on uniform and equipment if the costs are included in the registration fee.

• Each Get Active Kids voucher code can only be used once.

• The Get Active Kids voucher can only be applied to one transaction.
