Import Fixtures

Associations use Netball Connect to create fixtures based on competition format details they entered into Netball Connect. Leagues, however, follow a Football fixture so prefer to import their games to match the football schedule. There are two options available to Leagues when importing fixtures.  Important note - both options use a specific template so please ensure you are using the correct template. 

Option One - Import via the Fixtures Module 

This is the preferred method of importing fixtures for several reasons:

• the import template has less data required 
• allows for the seamless creation of custom finals to suit League requirements

Option Two - Import via the Match Day Module

This is the method most Leagues would be familiar with. If this is your chosen method, you will also need to import finals using the same method. In the past this has caused some issues with the finals being imported incorrectly as Leagues use a wide variety of finals formats and the templates may not always account for your preferred option.  The custom finals functionality available with Option One is able to meet any format so please consider using Option One to import your fixtures.
