Create Custom Finals
- In your competition > finals page specify Finals start date and time.
- Under Fixture Template, select Custom from the dropdown.
- Specify “Apply venue to all rounds” or “Apply venue round by round” - meaning this will allocating the same venues that are selected in venue allocation to all finals rounds or round by round.
- Select venue allocation Home team advantage - If the competition has home and away fixturing enabling this finals fixture will allocate to the home teams venue. Central Venue allocation - Means you can select a central venue for the finals round.
- Define Number of finals rounds, Number of teams, Finals Round names - ie Semi Finals, Preliminary Finals, Grand Final or Finals Rd 1, Finals Rd 2. This is entirely up to the naming convention of your finals format.
- Cross Division - ie finals will be played between teams from different divisions.
Fill in the remaining custom finals details.
Based on number of teams to playoff in finals, select the Team 1 and Team 2 rank for the first game. Select + Add Match to add more matches.
Select NEXT to move on to next round of finals and continue until all finals games/rounds have been created.
Complete the remaining finals details
Match type and duration and details around Final Extra time and Extra Extra Time.
Once you have completed these details > Create Draft Draw. Select what you want to regenerate from the popup. If you are adding finals mid season you may just need to regenerate after the last round, if you are doing this at the beginning of the season you may select Entire Draw. Click OK. Custom Finals as per setup above will appear as new finals rounds as you have named them in the setup. See example, Semi Final below etc. If you are happy with the finals layout they are ready to Publish to Match Day.
