Import Finals Fixture Template

There is a unique finals fixture template for each finals format (eg. top 5, 4 rounds). The correct template must be selected for the import to be successful. Leagues must populate the following fields: date, time, division/grade, venue, court, type, match and break duration, time zone and round.

NOTE: 

- The Home Team, Away Team and Finals Alias columns should not be edited.

- When complete, save the import template to your computer as a .csv file.

- Make sure any additional venues used for finals matches are added in Settings > Settings > Venues.

IMPORT FIXTURE

- Login to Netball Connect

- Go to Match Day and click on the name of the competition.

- Match Day > Competition Details > Matches

- Go to Actions > Import Matches

- Select Choose File and find the saved location of the import fixture template.

- Click Upload.

A pop-up box will appear asking to Remove Existing Matches? It is vitally important that you select NO to this question. Any other option will result in all matches across the entire fixture, all results and player statistics being deleted.

- Select NO.

Match Imported Successfully pop up message should appear.

EDIT LADDER SETTINGS

Complete this step only when all home and away matches have been completed, all match results entered and confirmed, and all player stats entered. Leagues may need to edit the ladder settings. Netball Connect will automatically add the results from all finals matches to the competition ladder. If you do not want results from finals matches calculating in the ladder you must

complete this step.

- Go to Match Day > Settings > Settings >Ladder/Draw

- Scroll down to Ladder Settings and find When should ladder stop calculating points?

- Select End of round matches

ACTIVATE FINALS

- Finals must only be activated once all home and away matches have been completed, all match results entered and confirmed, and all player stats entered.

- Match Day > Competition Details > Matches

- Actions > Activate Finals

- Untick All Divisions and select the division / grades to activate finals.

All matches from round one of the finals will automatically populate according to the final ladder positions.

ENTER RESULTS

Enter results as per all home and away rounds. Once a match result is entered the following finals matches will automatically populate teams.
